A hybrid coating built for tough floors

The V-8 Hybrid High Performance Floor is a coating built from a combination of polyurea and polyaspartic resins, blending the strengths of both into one finish. It is self-leveling, UV stable, and available as a clear or pigmented coating, and CLS is certified in its installation and maintenance. Where a lot of floor coatings come with a strong chemical smell during and after application, this one has no VOCs and no odor, along with excellent chemical resistance and superior bonding to the concrete underneath.

One of the more practical advantages is application speed and flexibility. The coating can be applied at temperatures as low as zero degrees Fahrenheit, whether the space is heated or not, and a full application can be completed in less than 8 hours. For a building that cannot afford a floor to be out of service for days at a time, that turnaround matters as much as the finish itself.

The coating comes in three floor styles: full chip, random chip, and solid, giving a facility manager some control over the finished look, from a uniform solid color to a textured chip pattern that hides dirt and wear better in high traffic areas. Choose the right sealant for your floor

The right sealant depends on what the floor actually needs to do. A tire service bay or industrial floor that takes constant chemical exposure and heavy equipment traffic is usually better suited to the V-8 hybrid coating, with its chemical resistance and fast application. A lobby, corridor or retail floor that wants a long lasting high gloss look with minimal upkeep often does better with the low VOC urethane finish.
