Older Glen Ellyn buildings need a deep clean

Winter salt wears down Glen Ellyn floors

Winter in Glen Ellyn means snow, and salt on the sidewalks and parking lots. That salt comes inside on boots from the first storm until the thaw. Hard floors need their own work. We restore tile and grout, terrazzo, granite, marble, VCT and polished cement, and we polish stone. Floor scrubbing and waxing is included in the standard contract, done yearly or twice a year. A protective coating or sealer laid down before the snow keeps salt off the floor itself. In the fall, Glen Ellyn's old shade trees drop wet leaves that get walked inside, and those can stain light grout and carpet near the door.
